The Chambery

The Chambery has been named the Boston Globes “Home of the Week”, and represents everything that you could want in a luxury custom home.

Drawing its name from one of the most sought after regions of the Alps, The Chambery boasts features that make this home one of the most sought after designs in the area.  The experience begins at the foot of the hill that The Chambery is perched atop.

Following the serpentine drive flanked by custom stone walls up the hill overlooking Boston, you arrive at your own chalet inspired by the pinnacle of ski resorts across the globe.  The stone accents the stucco facades, and all blends beautifully into the two-tiered landscaped backyard surrounding the massive back deck on which you can enjoy the beautiful vistas. The exterior of the house seems decadent in its own right, but the interior holds more of the same.

The Chambery – named after a highly sought after region of the Alps that has been part of France and Italy and Switzerland. The popularity of this Chalet style home lends itself to the name by being recognized for its highest quality.

The interior of the house boasts a multi-level design that flows through the entire floor plan with vaulted cathedral ceilings over separate two-story seating areas each with its own fireplace and contemporary accents like cable railings and exquisite contemporary chandeliers.  The kitchen is done in traditional cherry wood, and has a center island custom shaped to fit the area for cooking or entertaining or both, without crowding the space.  The luxury bathrooms have custom tiled showers with plenty of custom built-in features and the latest technology in fixtures, plus and a separate soaking tub.  Through the entire home, The Chambery has custom closets allowing plenty of storage for all of the members of the house and guests, and a giant mudroom to receive all of those guests.
